“Killer Cousins is great! In the ‘a la mode’ of
Agatha Christie, Miss Marple, and onward. Grab it
up when you hop on a plane--it will take you for
a ride.” Heather Graham, New York Times Bestselling author
Spunky young grandma Cealie Gunther tries to avoid her hunky sometimes-ex lover Gil Thurman so she can rediscover herself. She also wants to avoid relatives so she won't become dependent on them. But a cousin who antagonized her in childhood pleads for Cealie to come to Gatlinburg, TN, needing Cealie's help or she'll face dire consequences. And Gil couldn't be opening another of his Cajun Delights restaurants there—could he? Torn between flying off for her planned exotic vacation or landing in the hills of Tennessee, Cealie knows where she must go. She can't believe what she finds once she gets there and fears someone she knows may be implicated and attack more victims.
Murder and mayhem blend with quirky characters in this full-filled romp.

Note to the Reader: Getting older doesn't mean we have to stop having fun or forget about our dreams. I wanted to write since childhood but didn't start until I was widowed with five children. I sold small pieces and became a teacher and enjoyed my growing children. Much later, I started working on novels and finally sold one. By then I had become a grandmother —but I did it! My grandchildren and children are proud.
I'm having fun writing new books and playing with my large family and friends, including my Red Hat Society ladies. I don't spend much time in the kitchen anymore since I need to travel to the next place where Cealie will get in trouble.
Inspiration for my feisty protagonist comes from my squeeze Bob, who says or does almost anything. (See Photo Gallery) More inspiration comes from my mom, who lives with me now because of fading vision. She was in her mid-nineties when people started asking how many pills she took. One, she answered. For birth control. Now Mom is 102! You can see her in my Photo Gallery at our line dance class. That picture and an article appeared in many newspapers and caused a producer from The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to invite us on the program. We declined since Mom would have trouble with the trip. Instead, she said to invite Jay here. I wrote the letter. We're waiting.
I am so fortunate to have such a loving family and group of friends. I treasure every one —and you — for reading about my works. Thanks for dropping by. Please come back often for more exciting news.
